New single by Venezuelan Ska Jazz Messengers band, presenting ‘It’s Alright'.

‘It’s Alright’, original song by Curtis Mayfield & The Impressions (1963), adapted and arranged as main soundtrack on the Pixar’s ‘Soul’ film, and now colored by Ska Jazz Messengers.

With heavy Early Reggae grooves in a Lloyd Charmers mood, a little bit from Gladstone Anderson and, of course, some traditional Ska, SJM provides a rich and fresh new cover of this great tune.

This single has some collaborations as on piano, bass and backing vocals by Casey Beres (californian multi-instrumentist and songwriter), as well as Samuel Fuentes doing a beautiful job on backing vocals and, also, the track has been mixed by top Argentinian producer and musician Esteban Descalzo.

Ska Jazz Messengers were formed 11 years ago in Caracas, Venezuela. The band features nowadays 7 musicians and is one of the bands with a wider International projection in Latin America. They are now writing and producing new stuff to be released soon.

A Nice little Ska sampler . a lot of great tracks, the best being The Scotch Bonnets - Sheena Is A Punk Rocker! Avoid the Sham 69 cover - just as bad as the original. Erasmus Windage
